1- Executive Summary
The purpose of this blog is to provide an enrichment alternative to teachers teaching 7th grade students how to dissect a frog. This lesson provides an online alternative to the students who feel uncomfortable dissecting live frogs. This is a great virtual activity for teachers who are teaching middle school students about frogs and their environment.
In middle school as an adolescent i would always dread participating in science projects were we had to dissect insects and animals. I always wished there was another way to do the assignment without tearing the animal or insect apart. As a teacher now myself, I am very excited to see that there is technology now that allows teachers to teach about the parts of animals and insects without making the students uncomfortable and unwilling to participate.
